“If you’re someone who genuinely wants to improve your pole and/or aerial performance skillsets, book a slot with V asap. Having grown up competing in sports my whole life, I gravitate towards ‘coach’ personalities when learning new skills. V brings the coaching aspect to the table full force, encouraging her students to really push themselves in order to improve. While you’ll never be forced to do anything you’re incapable of, you’ll certainly be shocked at how much you can do with the right instructor. My first class, I thought that climbing a pole would NEVER be in the cards for me because of how awkward I felt. Now, I am hanging upside down by my knees or spinning with just an elbow. V has an incredible resume in the physical performance and education department, so don’t miss your opportunity to learn from an expert!”

“V meets everyone in their body and physical journey exactly where they are with no expectations or judgements (besides safety, of course). She has an incredible ability to provide encouragement and cues exactly when it is needed, and equally—sit back and watch a student work through it if that’s how they learn, without imposing upon their process. V is always sharing new knowledge because she is frequently continuing her education as an instructor by participating in workshops and gaining reputable certifications. When I take her classes or privates, I ALWAYS leave the studio feeling good about myself and excited to come back.”

“Pole fitness classes with V have helped me tremendously on multiple aspects of my life. In the pure physical fitness aspect, her teaching has allowed me to feel more in tune and in control of my body. This has yielded plenty of results in my sport of powerlifting including more core control. The other aspect (which has been more profound) is the emotional and mental. Going through these classes I have become more body positive towards myself and feeling more free day to day, being who I am truly and honestly. It has been rewarding to be able to grow completely through something as subtle as working on a pole!”

“Going to V’s class has become the highlights of my week. She puts out an atmosphere that is so welcoming and inclusive that everyone that attends the class rides that same vibe. You go into class knowing that everyone there is supportive, encouraging and welcoming of everyone because V makes it a safe space. I’ve always been super self conscious of my body and it's differences; V’s class is the one public spot that I don't feel self conscious. Not only has V helped me feel strong, confident and proud of myself but she’s also helped me over come some of my anxieties and self doubt as well.”

“Alongside her amazing strength and physical skill, V has an incredible brain for teaching. I’ve never had a teacher so tuned in to my exact skill level and needs, especially one who has so many students every week. I picture her brain like a rolodex with all of us students and our needs stored neatly inside! Talent doesn’t automatically come with the ability to teach your talent, but lucky for us V has both in equal parts.”

“V IS THE BEST INSTRUCTOR EVER!!! I was very nervous at first but once V introduced herself and had everyone introduce themselves, it was a great ice breaker. Leaving the class with some new friends and knowledge (and bruises). I always look forward to classes and I try to find more people to drag along with me to V’s classes! V also makes us feel comfortable in our own bodies as we try our hardest learning new moves. V is a bad ass and I truly love her for it! If anyone ever asks me about her classes, I will always say they will never disappoint.”

— Jessi (she/her)

“I really enjoyed V’s class. I was very nervous to go but it was very empowering and I really appreciated V’s patience and hype through class.”

— Kass (she/her)

“I love V’s teaching. I’m in a weird place in life where I’m somewhat limited in what I can do physically and I’ve always appreciated that V always trusts me to listen to my body and always do what feels safe to me while still being encouraging and pushing me to try new things from time to time. I feel very safe as a person with some physical limitations knowing that I’ll never be ‘helped’ or ‘adjusted’ in a way that will actually end up just hurting me due to my own weird body problems. Plus V’s funny and sarcastic and I love that energy.”

— Allison (she/her)

“V creates a space in class that is both very professional and very welcoming, which can be a hard balance to strike. They create an environment that is very open to questions which I appreciate as a serial questioner. V is willing to help push and encourage those who want to learn and need a little extra help believing in their own capabilities. I really appreciate that they are open about the work it takes to progress and find a way to recognize and pay attention to each student in class. Overall, V is a great person to learn from and a great liaison into the pole community.”

— Gaea (she/her)

“I encourage all individuals to work a class with V into their schedule. She offers such a solid foundational practice and my body literacy has increased after working with V regularly. They meet me where I’m at no matter what (and that can be anywhere depending on the day). I find my focus and determination in V’s classes so I tend to walk away feeling sweaty and absolutely great.”

— Gina (she/her)

“Thank you V for giving me the opportunity to see what my body is capable of doing and to try new and challenging things in a fun and safe environment.”

— James (he/him)

“I love V!!! One of the most welcoming teachers I have ever met. I felt instantly recognized by V as a queer and non-binary person. Both of which can be difficult in such a stereotypically femme space. If I brought someone to class with me, I always tried to make sure it was V’s class.”

— Maddy (they/them)

“V makes pole dancing SO much fun. I was nervous going in, but she made that experience a memorable one for me and my mom. We had so much fun - I’ll never forget it!!”

— Sophia (she/her)

“There’s few communities and individuals that I can say helped me move through life more easily, and V is one of them. Coming from environments that were intense and toxically masculine has been hard to move on from but V has been one piece of the puzzle that helped me! And I’m grateful for that.”
